Alphapointe announced Ryan Williams will assume a newly created role of Chief Operating Officer.
Previously the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Williams will manage the functions of business development, information technology, operations, sales and marketing.
Since Williams began with Alphapointe in the spring of 2016, Alphapointe has experienced 43 percent growth in manufacturing and contract services
Williams also oversaw the establishment of Alphapointe’s Tactical Medical Division. To date, the business line has produced nearly 500,000 life-saving tactical/medical devices, which has created sustainable jobs for more than 25 Americans, most of whom are people who are blind.
During his tenure, Alphapointe’s Business Development and Sales Division have completed 110 contracts and new product additions that have also generated scores of positions for people with vision loss.
A resident of Olathe, Kan., Williams and his wife, Cari, are the proud parents of two sons, Aidan (19) and Bennett (15). Williams earned his B.S. from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and his MBA from the University of Kansas.
