Alphapointe Chief Financial Officer Jeff McHenry was honored by the Kansas City Business Journal through its “CFO of the Year” program during a luncheon award ceremony today.
As one of 16 recipients in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, McHenry was recognized for his outstanding work at Alphapointe throughout the pandemic. Not only did the organization persevere, but Alphapointe actually generated its most revenue in history during the past fiscal year.
“His colleagues know Jeff to be a talented executive who brings facts to any discussion to help guide the team to a good decision,” Alphapointe President and CEO Reinhard Mabry said. “But, they also know him to be a man of faith and devotion who genuinely cares about the people around him. Jeff is a 100 percenter, meaning he gives his all – at work, at home and in the community.”
Since McHenry started his career with Alphapointe in 2015, the organization has increased its annual revenues by more than 30 percent. McHenry’s nomination also highlighted his responsibilities in supervising the inventory management team, his leadership role in securing a large loan to purchase and renovate Alphapointe’s current facility in Queens, N.Y., his volunteering efforts both within the organization and outside the organization and much more.
