Join us on October 15 for KC White Cane Day 2026.
Celebrate National White Cane Safety Day with Alphapointe and Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) and help raise awareness about the independence, mobility, and achievements of people who are blind or visually impaired.
Ride the KC Streetcar, learn about the power of the white cane, and connect with fellow advocates, families, and community supporters as we celebrate accessibility and inclusion across Kansas City.
We’ll start off at Grand Street Café – Plaza, then ride the streetcar to Union Station where we’ll take a group photo before heading back and gathering at the Mill Creek Memorial Fountain for a special celebration.
The event will be 10AM – 1PM and starts and ends at Grand Street Cafe – Plaza at 4740 Grand Avenue, KCMO 64112.
