KMBC & KCWE Community Day

Image of Alphapointe Adventure Camp participantAlphapointe is the non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people with low vision to achieve their goals and aspirations. Manufacturing tens of millions of products annually, Alphapointe is one of the largest employers of people who are blind in the U.S. with nearly 400 employees, more than half of whom are blind or visually impaired. Alphapointe also provides comprehensive vision rehabilitation services to thousands of children, adults and seniors annually.

For KMBC & KCWE Community Day, we are raising funds to provide accessible/adaptive laptops to every child who attends our Technology Camp and for scholarships for kids to attend our Adventure Camp.

These camps are the only ones of their kind in the region. They are invaluable and they ensure children with low vision are able to keep up with their sighted peers.

Will you help us?
