Alphapointe is excited to announce the date for the first ever C & C Group Alphapointe Pro-Am Golf Tournament. This premiere tournament will be held on June 11th at Loch Lloyd Country Club and is officially sanctioned by the Midwest Section of the PGA. Sponsors will have the opporutunity to be among the first golfers to play the new Tom Watson-designed 18 holes at Loch Lloyd alongside some of the region's best golf professionals, including Sean Dougherty and Rob Wilkin. Alphapointe Tactile and DescriptiveTours for the Visually Impaired at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
Visitors who are blind or visually impaired, ages 12 and older, will be introduced to the contemporary collection in an hour-long tour that will begin with a classroom component followed by either a hands-on component utilizing specific, approved pieces of sculpture or a highly-descriptive audio tour of several pieces in The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art collection. This program is free and open to anyone in the community with vision loss. Tours are led by highly-trained docents, and are limited to the first 9 registrants and their sighted guides.
